On the 26th of November 2020, Budget 2021 has finally been approved after quite a debate. In accordance with the particular announcement, some amendments were made to particular allocations that were previously tabled at the bill’s hearing. One of these important amendments was the total amount of money that will be allocated to the E-wallets of all the students in various higher learning education institutions in Malaysia.
Tengku Zafrul who is the Finance Minister has finally announced that all IPT and also IPTS students in Malaysia are eligible to receive in a total of RM100 in their e-wallets. This decision will be including those above 20 years old.
