Zone B and Zone C areas in Taman Meru 2C, Ipoh will be implemented Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) for 14 days from Nov 20 to Dec 3.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said it is due to the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 in both localities.

“This EMCO will involve 2,288 residents and 572 houses in these two localities.

“The implementation of EMCO is to enable the Ministry of Health (MOH) to conduct targeted screening of residents in the area,” he said in a press conference today.
