Mads Mikkelsen To Replace Johnny Depp In Fantastic Beasts 3

Warner Bros. confirmed that Mads Mikkelsen will replace actor Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts 3 series.

Following Depp’s ‘resignation’, Warner Bros. confirmed that new actors have already been screened for the character of Gellert Grindelwald and there are rumors that Mads Mikkelsen is Depp’s successor to the series.

Mikkelsen initially dismissed the rumors but, the rumors were apparently true when Warner Bros. himself confirmed that the actor from the Hannibal series will replace Depp as Grindelwald.

The Fantastic Beasts 3 series is expected to be released on July 15, 2022, and the original actors of the series such as Eddie Redmayne, Katherin Waterson, Dan Fogler, and Ezra Miller will remain in the franchise.
