A pet cat in Thailand surprised its owner when he dared to chase a four-ton elephant that invaded the garden in his master’s yard.
Three-year-old Simba, aware of the elephant’s arrival looking for food in Nakhon Nayok, on Tuesday night.
However, Simba, who works as a ‘security guard’ at his master’s house, was not afraid to see the elephant even though it was larger in size and capable of killing humans with just one step.
Through the picture that was recorded, the wild elephant was seen greedily damaging the plants before passing away after being approached by Simba with the position of wanting to attack.
According to the owner, his pet cat is indeed aggressive and does not like the presence of other animals entering his territory.
Residents say the 35-year-old elephant named Pai Salick is a ‘nuisance’ to them because it often tramples people’s gardens in search of food.
“The elephant lives in the forest but he often walks around the homes at night to look for food. People know who he is,” said local park ranger Amnat Norasin.
