Not surprisingly, in the modern world, where technology is just at our fingertips, our smartphones provide unlimited access to knowledge for our daily lives. This encompasses our Islamic needs.

For the Muslim community, Islamic-related applications are very important, especially in obligatory matters such as finding the direction of Qibla, knowing the time of prayer, or reading the Quran.

To help Muslims find the best apps, here are the nine best Islamic apps available through the Google Play Store and iOS App Store for you in 2020.

1. Muslim Assistant and Muslim Prayer Times, Azan, Quran & Qibla By Al Hiwar

Muslim Assistant app was available for Android and iOS users while Muslim Prayer Time by Al-Hiwar for Android users only. These applications have many features that were helpful. If your phone is limited by the size of the app, then you may prefer a smaller app that is Muslim Assistant, which has all the features, with only a small app size.

These applications contain all the requirements of a Muslim to perform their worship. Among them are reading the Al-Quran, translation of Al-Quran, Tajweed, Prayer Time, Azan, Qibla direction, and Tasbih counter. Interestingly for Android users, additional authentic Hadith are also provided.

2. al-Moazin Lite, iPray, and Athan Now

These three applications are the best Azan application and Islamic prayer application. The apps are al-Moazn Lite and iPray for iPhone and Android phones, and the Athan Now app only for Android users.

This application focuses on enabling Muslims to perform prayers such as Azan, know the prayer time and Qibla direction. Also provided are after prayer worship such as the number of du’a and dhikir count.

3. Quran Pro, The Holy Quran- English, and Quran Majeed

For the best applications to read the Qur’an, these three are the best Qur’an applications. Among them are Quran Pro, The Holy Quran- English, and Quran Majeed, all of the apps are available in the Google Play Store and also in the iOS App Store.

These applications are very helpful for the Muslim community for the purpose of reading, listening, and understanding the Qur’an.
