Sylvester Stallone To Join ‘The Suicide Squad’

Recently, the famous actor that is Sylvester Stalone has been the latest name being announced that will join the cast of the highly anticipated movie named “Suicide Squad”. James Gunn who is the franchise’s director has posted about the particular news on his own Instagram social media platform by making a post. He posted that on Saturday night.

Sylvester Stalone himself has confirmed the particular statement by responding to the post. He said, “James, coming from a tireless and amazing Director, I consider that to be the Paramount of compliments! Keep punching, Sly”. Even though all the fans have been informed of Sylvester Stalone’s presence in the movie that was scheduled for a 2021 release, but it is still unclear what role that he will be playing in the next installment.

According to a statement, the film already has a star-studded lineup including several actors who were part of the 2016 cast. Margot Robbie is reprising Harley Quinn, along with Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Colonel Rick Flag, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Other than Sylvester Stalone, James Gunn also announced that Idris Elba would be part of the new cast.

Unfortunately, it remains unclear who will play the Joker for the next movie of “Suicide Squad”, as Jared Leto does not appear to be coming back in the role of the villain.
