The Most Awaited Film, Tom Holland’s Cherry Officially Gets Release Date

‘Cherry’, a movie starring Tom Holland has officially gotten its 2021 release date.

The highly-anticipated movie stars everyone’s favorite Spider-Man boy, ‘Cherry’, where some photos are released for the public to see the sides of the character he’s playing in the new movie that will be released on March 12 on Apple TV+.

The movie is based on Nico Walker’s novel, ‘Cherry’, which tells about Holland’s character’s army vet as he returns home and begins robbing banks to support his girlfriend and opioid addiction.

Holland was announced to be involved in the production in early 2019, where the filming takes place in the same year. This opportunity can move Holland away from being dependent on his Spider-Man character and finally getting a different light shone onto him as an actor.

The Russos have given the fans teases as they completed post-production work – then the announcement of ‘Cherry’ being released on Apple TV+ in September took place.

From the pictures released, the promotional efforts for this movie to reach others have succeeded greatly as Holland fans excited to see him act like someone that’s not like his previous character, Peter Parker.

Cherry, Holland’s character, who was an army veteran that’s suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, turned into a devoted boyfriend that makes bank robbery his main activity.

In the images, they also show the appearance of Ciara Bravo that plays Cherry’s girlfriend Emily.

From the innocent and good-spirited boy in the Marvel Universe, Cherry is definitely a change of pace for the young actor, with him playing a character that’s grim and dark.

Cherry, who is a devoted lover, addict, criminal, and a soldier, all of these sides of Cherry would most certainly be seen as a challenge for Holland to portray the character convincingly and realistically.

The year 2021 is certainly going to be an eventful one for Holland, where he will be undergoing three franchise installments of MCU’s third Spider-Man movie, Uncharted and Chaos Walking.

This could be his chance to finally show his fans that the sweet spider boy everyone knew could also be the complete opposite.
