(Video) Mysterious Alien-Like Metal Monolith Found In Utah Desert

As the public safety crew did a wildlife count, flying across southeastern Utah, they found an unusual monolith, a sleek metal structure that was planted in the ground, being around 3 meters tall.

The Utah Department of Public Safety said on Monday that they landed to see the object and to conduct further investigation.

The team was seen in the video to be in satirical spirits, finding it almost unbelievable that something so foreign was found.

“The intrepid explorers go down to investigate the alien life-form,” one of the crews in the video said, laughing.

The crew was reminded of a scene from a Sci-Fi movie, A Space Odyssey (2001), and thought that whoever made it must have been a huge fan.

The Utah Dept. of Public Safety said that the one who installed it had breached the law, as it is illegal to plant any sort of structure on public land without permission.
