3 Popular Yasmin Ahmad Movies Will Be Released On Netflix Starting December 18

Watching movies and dramas on Netflix has become a habit or an obligation for most of us, especially on weekends. Although there are hundreds (if not thousands) of titles available the experience will be even more special if the local films presented on this popular streaming site.

If before this, the film Puteri Gunung Ledang was first shown on the online streaming platform, now it is the turn of the best films directed by the famous director the late Yasmin Ahmad will meet the audience soon.

From Talentime, Mukhsin, and also Rabun, all three films that have been shown in cinemas and become a favorite of many Malaysians will be screened starting December 18 (Friday) on Netflix.

The matter was informed by a post made on Netflix’s official Instagram account a few hours ago which brought the good news to viewers in Malaysia.

“This December 18, we will bring some of the work of the arwah Yasmin Ahmad to the audience around the world.

“These films have not only won awards but have provoked our minds on the true meaning of being Malaysians in our hearts and minds,” they announced.

Based on the announcement made on Facebook, these listed films can not only be watched by local audiences but also screened around the world.

For those of you who have not yet watched these films, Talentime tells the story of the Talentime singing competition with Melur and Mahesh.

The film Mukhsin tells the story of a friendship between Orked starring Sharifah Aryana and also Muhsin played by Syafie Naswip.

Meanwhile, the movie Rabun tells the story of the inspiration of Pak Atan starring M Rajoli and his wife who decided to return to the village after no longer finding pleasure in their city life.

For those of you who have watched these three films, maybe this is the time for you to recall and reminisce about the work of the late Yasmin Ahmad who once entertained us once.
