(Video) Footage of Animals Using The Animal Bridge In Utah Released After 2 Years

Officials in Southern California have announced the highway overpass for wildlife, wanting to aim to break ground in 2021. This is the state’s first project of the sort.

This overpass was made to help the animals get across the highway away from the dangers of cars, and the wild animals have been taking advantage of that for the past 2 years.

This week, the footage of the “Critter Bridge” was released, showing all sorts of animals walking across. Footage has been released by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources on their Facebook page.

From the surveillance, bobcats, coyotes, deer, mountain lions, bears, and even small animals were spotted using the bridge.

Built-in 2018 with a budget of $5 million, the bridge was made covered in rocks and logs so that the animals would feel right where they belong, with high fencing so they wouldn’t fall off.

John Gleason, a Utah transportation department spokesman thought that it would take more time for them to adjust to the bridge, but it was sooner than expected.

“We’re seeing results, and it’s an unexpected success to see results this early,” he said.
