How to Do Eyeliner According to Your Eye Shape

Being a woman, you must know how important it is to wear eyeliner in your daily routine. By just wearing eyeliner, you can look like ‘someone else’.

In making winged eyeliner or eyeliner paint, of course, you need a lot of practice. But you need to know, everyone cannot use the same technique because of different eye shapes. So if you want a perfect winged eyeliner, we will share some suitable techniques according to eye shape.

1. MONOLID

For those who have monolid-shaped eyes, your eyes will not have any folds and become flat on the eyelids. In addition, the eyebrows are also not usually prominent. The methods:

  • Make winged eyeliner roughly and line the lower lashes from the outer corner of 2/3 before connecting it with the wing.
  • Using a finger or brush, smudge a little eyeliner out of the line made.
  • Take liquid eyeliner and add it to the upper part of the lashes and then lengthen it into a wing.
  • If you feel confident, grab a brown eyeliner pencil and draw a crease.
  • Smudge the top line to make it look natural.
  • Then apply mascara and ready!

2. HOODED

As for the shape of the hooded eyes, your eyes tend to have less eyelid space and when you open the eyes, it will close the part of your crease.

Ways:

  • Open your eyes until you see the waterline. Starting from the outer corner, draw a line along the waterline.
  • To look a little thicker, color a little between your lashes when drawing along the waterline.
  • Using a cream or glitter, place a little on the tear ducts.
  • You can add a little eyeshadow to the eyelids to make your eyes pop more.

3. ROUND

If anyone has round eyes this must look very cute! To know if you have this shape, your eyes must be in the middle without being flanked by the eyelids. And when you open your eyes, you can see the crease clearly.

Ways:

  • Draw a thin line outside 2/3 of the upper lash line.
  • To make a wing, draw a line from the outer corner to the top vertically and make a triangular shape.
  • Draw a thin line on the lower lashes and combine them up to the wing (2).
  • You can blend the painted underline to make your eyes look soft.

4 . ALMOND

If you see iris flanked by upper and lower eyelids, this means you have almond-shaped eyes. For this eye shape, almost all types of eyeliner styles are suitable and easy to wear.

Ways:

  • On the eyelid, draw a thin line from the inner corner to the outer corner.
  • Then, thicken the line at 3/4 of the line at the outer corner.
  • To add a wing, draw a line from the outer corner of the eye upwards and combine it with the line and make a triangular shape.
  • Color the shape of the triangle and combine the two parts, namely (2) and (3).
  • Easy isn’t it? After this, feel free to apply the perfect winged eyeliner according to the shape of your eyes. Good luck!
