IKEA Cheras Closes Today After A Security Guard Found Positive Covid-19

The management of the IKEA furniture store Cheras branch in a statement informed that the premises will be temporarily closed today, 25 January 2021 following several positive Covid-19 cases detected in security guards employees.

According to the statement, the case was detected through a routine screening test conducted by the company.

All of them are undergoing quarantine until further notice by the authorities. To take precautions, the building will be temporarily closed for the cleaning and demolition process.

“The fight against Covid-19 pandemic is a shared responsibility. Let’s do our part by supporting and following the Government’s directions to prevent the further spread of the virus. Stay safe and take care,” they added.
