Website Threat Hacked, All Government Agencies Given Warning Notice – MKN

The National Security Council (NSC) through the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) has issued a warning notice to all government agencies to take the necessary measures to prevent and minimize the impact of cyberattacks.

MKN in a statement today informed that serious action was taken following the threat to hack the government’s website through the spread of a video on social media released by ‘Anonymous Malaysia’ on social media platforms recently.

According to MKN, NACSA is also working with the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to coordinate and take appropriate action.

“The government is very concerned and gives priority to the infrastructure security of the government’s information technology as well as critical systems of the country”.

“We have outline actions to strengthen the IT system, including improving the knowledge and skills of relevant officers”.
