Aware of These 8 Dangerous Signs In Infants And Children Under 5 Year Old – MOH

Infants and also children under 5 years of age could be the most potential individual to catch diseases easily without their parents knowing about it. Because of that, the Ministry Of Health (MOH) has recently posted on its official Facebook page about the eight signs of danger that parents should be aware of towards their own children.

Parents, caregivers, or whoever that have younger siblings in the family, make sure to be super aware to these signs of danger.

The 8 dangerous signs that peoples should be aware of from their infants or children under 5-year-old are:

  1. Have a persistent fever for more than three days.
  2. Vomiting continuously.
  3. Less amount of urine.
  4. Experience seizures.
  5. Diarrhea with bloody stools.
  6. Could not breastfeed or drink.
  7. Weak, lethargic, or unconscious.
  8. Coughing or shortness of breath.

Adults are very encouraged to bring their infants or children under five years of age to the nearest health personnel as soon as possible if they showcased at least one of the symptoms above.
