Cosplayer Recreates A Realistic Scene From ‘The Last of Us 2’, Even The Game Developer Surprised

Cosplayer Gull Sheer and photographer Alon Levin have recreated a scene from ‘The Last of Us Part 2’ that is so realistic that it impresses the game developer Naughty Dog. The award-winning game has since drawn various attention from fans and critics and spawned multiple fanworks.

Cosplayers have often dressed as the titular characters such as Ellie, fan-favorite Joel, and even the newest addition Abby. However, it is not common for cosplayers to recreate infected enemies in the games such as clickers, bloaters, runners, and stalkers who are products of humans and fungus combined. Part of TLOU charm is the impressive character and monster designs in the game that did not lack in variety.

Sheer and Levin thought differently as they portrayed an infected enemy and shared their art on social media. The work turned eerily realistic that it looks like a screenshot from the game itself. This is thanks to their ingenious look and Levin’s editing skills. The final result shows Sheer in a clicker costume running towards a human in a run-down room.

The developers encourage fans to send their cosplay photos and artworks to their official link to further share the love for the game.
