LATEST: Night Markets, Barber Shops And Car Wash Centers Allowed To Operate With Strict SOPs

The government allowed night markets, barbershops, and car washes to operate. According to a statement by the Senior Minister (Defense), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, the operations of all businesses must follow strict standard operating procedures.

Clearly, the night market can operate from 4 pm while the distance between the stalls should be at least one meter and only one-way entry and exit is allowed.

Meanwhile, barbershop operations are allowed to operate until 10 pm. However, only shearing services are allowed while beauty treatment procedures are prohibited.

In addition, operators must follow strict SOPs such as wearing face masks and face shields, gloves, and disposable aprons for each customer.

Operators also need to wash used equipment with hot water every time after cutting the customer’s hair, he said.

Not just that, car wash operations are also allowed until 10 pm.
