As we all know, the NTV7 channel service will be changed to the Education TV channel, that is DidikTV KPM. Undoubtedly, many Malaysians are quite aware of the channel that will be changed which can be said to have various sweet memories from childhood.
It can be said that almost all the people, especially those born in the 90s, feel sad because the story of the past is only a memory now. Surely many of you are able to remember the various cartoon shows that have been broadcast on NTV7.
To recall those memories, here is a list of some cartoon shows that have colored our lives on the NTV7 channel.
5) Digimon Adventure
Tells the story of seven children brought to the Digital World by Digivices who appear before them in a summer camp, where they make friends with several Digimon (Digital Monsters). Each of the children’s Digivices allows their Digimon to Digivolve into a stronger form and fight the enemy. As the kids explore to find their way home, they discover that they are ‘DigiDestined’, the children that were chosen to save the Digital World.
The series was then continued with Digimon Adventure 02 and later on with Digimon Tamers. It is one of the most favorite cartoon shows that was aired at that time.
4) Ultraman Tiga
The show tells the story of Ultraman Tiga, a light giant that protected ancient human civilization 30 million years ago. After human civilization perished, it became a stone statue. Now, Tiga is resurrected and reunited with a pilot named Daigo Madoka from the GUTS defense team, who also has Ultra DNA on his body. At the same time, 21st century Earth faces the threat of intruders from space, other dimensions, and even monsters. Together, they must fight to protect planet Earth.
With the popularity that was gained through this series, NTV7 then continued showing other Ultraman series like Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Gaia, and even Ultraman Cosmos.
3) Kamen Rider Ryuki
The series about the story of a journalist, Shinji Kido who was accidentally involved in a Riders fight. Thirteen Deck Cards are made for thirteen Kamen Riders. They make Contracts with monsters from the mysterious Mirror World, a parallel dimension to the one we have where only Kamen Riders can exist. The Riders use their monster power in exchange to give them the life force of the creatures they destroyed. The creators of Advent Cards have only one rule that there is only one Kamen Rider and the other must be killed, and the only winner will be given one wish, which leads to a conflict known as Rider War.
Surely this is one of the Kamen Rider series that was so popular when it was aired on NTV7. Like Ultraman, NTV7 continues to show other Kamen Rider series such as Kamen Rider Faiz, Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider Decade, and many more.
2) Doraemon
The show tells the story of Doraemon, a 22nd-century robot cat that his ears were bitten by a rat and now he is afraid of all rats. He returns to the past to help a lazy and clumsy boy named Nobita Nobi. Doraemon contains a variety of tools in his 4D Pocket that allows him to help Nobita and use it for their adventures. In the series, Doraemon and Nobita go on some adventures with their friends using Doraemon’s future tools.
Doraemon is one of the cartoons that can be said popular when it was aired on NTV7. It is one of the cartoon shows that was aired at night.
1) Shin Chan
Crayon Shin-chan follows the adventures of a five-year-old boy named Shinnosuke Nohara and his parents, his dog, his little sister, and his friends. They live in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The story follows the daily activities of Shin-chan with his group of friends, parading around as the self-proclaimed “Kasukabe Defense Force.” With his friends and families, he keeps them entertained while unintentionally solving their daily troubles through his mindless antics, leaving himself as the only problem they do not know what to do with.
Besides Doraemon, Shin Chan was another cartoon shows that were aired at night. Shin Chan’s popularity can be said to be just as great as Doraemon when it aired on NTV7.
