Robert Maraj, Nicki Minaj’s Father Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident

Robert Maraj who is the 64-year-old father of the one and only Nicki Minaj has died after being struck in a shocking hit-and-run incident in Mineola, New York Friday night. The death of the singer’s father comes just months after she has welcomed her first child.

According to a report, Robert Maraj was walking along a road in Mineola on Long Island at 6.15 pm on Friday when he was hit by a car that kept going. He was then taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Saturday. Police are asking any witnesses to the fatal crash to come forward.

 

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the hit-and-run incident and have not apprehended a suspect. Nicki Minaj who was born named as Onika Tanya Maraj has yet to publicly address the death of her father.
