(Video) LATEST: History Made, PM Muhyiddin Received Covid-19 Vaccine Injection

The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has become the first individual to receive the Covid-19 vaccine injection, just now.

Through a live broadcast, the Prime Minister was injected in conjunction with the launch of the National COVID-19 Immunization Program in Putrajaya.

Apart from Muhyiddin, also receiving the first phase vaccine was the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, and four employees of the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

The first phase of vaccination, which will last until next April, will involve a total of 500,000 frontline staff consisting of health and non-health workers.

Last Sunday, a Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330-300 passenger aircraft decorated with the Jalur Gemilang carrying the first batch of vaccines landed safely at the Advanced Cargo Center (ACC), KLIA at about 10 am this morning.

The distribution and delivery of the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech plant in Belgium to countries around the world are handled by Pfizer Company and DHL through a global agreement.
