It has already known by the public that Dr. Nur Amalina Che Bakri is one of the individuals who have received the  Pfizer injection that is the Covid-19 vaccine in the United Kingdom. Following that, many netizens have asked various questions regarding the vaccine issue towards Dr. Nur Amalina in her own Instagram Story column.

Because of that, a popular celebrity that is Datuk Aznil Haji Nawawi has made a video call with Dr. Nur Amalina Che Bakri herself to discuss more the hotly debated vaccine issue in Malaysia.

In the video call that lasted for more than one hour, Pak Nil has asked various questions towards Dr. Amalina about the particular vaccine and also her experience as one of the earliest individuals to get the Covid-19 vaccine in the United Kingdom when compared to people in other countries including Malaysia.

According to Dr. Amalina, she has been receiving the Pfizer injections for the past month. She also added that in the United Kingdom, the vaccine is given for free and also according to a systematic method, namely group by group. First, they will give the vaccine to those aged 80 and above and those who are in care homes. The group needs to be vaccinated followed by care home workers, doctors, nurses, and frontline staff working in hospitals. The vaccination will continue until all communities in the United Kingdom received the vaccine.

Dr. Amalina also has shared that vaccine recipients should tell their doctors beforehand about any allergies they may have. This is because all the doctors need to look at the ingredients in the vaccine first. Each type of vaccine has different ingredients.

Regarding the issue of halal and haram about the vaccine, Dr. Amalina told Pak Nil that the particular Pfizer vaccine did not contain any pigs or other animals. They are all genetically synthetic materials. She also explained that she had given a link to all of her followers on social media to read about the vaccine that she was talking about. Everything that is written there is transparent and clear for everyone.

When Pak Nil asked about when Dr. Amalina will get the second dose, she said that the second dose should be taken after 21 days of the first dose. However, the government has delayed the period up to 12 weeks from the first dose period. This is because the level of effectiveness of the first dose is already high. In addition, the government in the UK wants to provide an opportunity for all walks of life to receive the first dose. Clearly, the second dose will provide a “booster” and provide more energy for the receiver.
