‘Kampung Pelangi’, Latest Vacation Destination In Kuala Selangor

Kampung Pelangi Kuala Selangor that is located specifically in Kampung Bukit Hijau, Jeram, Selangor, will definitely be a brand new tourist attraction that really loves uniqueness and also various fun activities. Inspired by the ‘Kampung Pelangi’ in Indonesia, Korea, and also Taiwan, it is run by a preacher and also a book writer who is also the Managing Director of Kuala Selangor Cabin Camp (KSCC) that is Ustaz Kamil Sidek.

This place has existed since the year 2015 which was originally a campsite for various activities such as student leadership camps, motivational camps, family days, and so on. Kamil then stated, when the country was hit by the Covid-19 outbreak and the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) since March last year, he decided to upgrade the three-acre site.

Not only focusing on the vibrant rainbow color, but Kampung Pelangi Kuala Selangor also emphasizes the various fun leisure activities that can be done with the family members and even tourists can stay there. There, visitors can choose to stay in several accommodations of various types that are quite interesting.

Kampung Pelangi Kuala Selangor has been open to the public starting from the 5th of March, right after the government announced that the MCO in Selangor will be replaced with the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) until the 18th of March.

Kampung Pelangi Kuala Selangor Specialities:

1) Visit and stay various types of accommodation available at KPKS such as Homestay, Busstay, Cabinstay, Tubestay, Villastay, Arabianstay, and Hobbitstay.

2) There is a mini zoo of various animals such as deer, horses, ostriches, iguanas, geese, goats, birds, chickens, turtles, and so on.

3) Various activities are available at KPKS besides seeing the colorful rainbow on the building such as Yoyocart, Archery, Pet Feeding, ATV Drum Train, Soopa Doopa, Trampoline, fishing, playing football, BBQ, and relaxing in a hammock.

4) Kampung Pelangi Kuala Selangor also serves as a campsite site for school co-curricular activities such as student leadership camps, motivational camps, team building, family days and so on.

5) There is also the Study of Muslimat Fiqh and Daurah Kitab for the general public which is the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of KPKS.

TICKET PRICE:

  • Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays – Adult (RM 15.00) – Senior Citizens & Children aged 3 to 12 years (RM 10.00)
  • Normal day – Adult (RM 12.00) – Senior Citizens & Children aged 3 to 12 years (RM 8.00) – Children under 3 are FREE!

OPERATION HOURS :

  • Monday to Thursday. Open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm only. (REST & PRAYER 1.00 – 2.00 pm)
  • Friday. Open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm only. (REST & PRAYER 12.30 – 2.30 pm)
  • Saturday and Sunday / Public Holiday. Open 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. (REST & PRAYER 1.00 – 2.00 pm)

All visitors are required to wear a mask and always comply with the SOP which has been determined by the MOH.
