They have successfully managed to stop the operations of one of the major international cartels by seizing a total of 94.6 million amphetamine pills that were carefully hidden in a shipment of trolley wheels. According to the Facebook posting, the pills were estimated to weigh about 16,000KG in total and also worth RM5.2 billion.

The Facebook posting stated, “The drug shipment arrived in Port Klang from a country in the Middle East and is believed to be heading to East Asia. The drug bust was a success due to the collaboration and intel-sharing between Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Home Affairs and the Royal Malaysia Police. This is certainly a very big step towards fighting international drug cartels”.
