(Video) “Fill Petrol Slowly To Get Extra? Fact Or Not?” – Pak Cik Shell

There have been so many theories that got discussed how to get extra petrol whenever you try to fill your tank. One of the theories that are often practiced by many people would be, we have to press the petrol nozzle slowly so that it can deliver more quantity of petrol in the car. Even there is never a prove or study about it, people seem to have been believing it. This matter has come to the attention of the Managing Director of Shell Malaysia or better known as ‘Pak Cik Shell’ by many people.

He then decided to do a video explaining the theory and has proven that the particular theory is just a myth only. He posted the video on his Instagram social media platform trying to prove the theory is not true.

According to the posted video, he and one of the workers there can be seen filling 10 liters of petrol into a container in two different ways. One is by pressing the nozzle quickly and other one is by pressing the nozzle slowly.

He then showed the quantity of petrol in both of the containers looked the same even though he used two different methods. To make people understand more, he then used two Costa Coffee cups that had half full of water from the container. In the first container, he poured the water slowly while for the second container, he poured the water quickly.

Yet the result remains the same, where the two containers have the same amount of water. Apparently the theory adopted by the public is actually myth all this while.
