Vietnamese Studio Creates The Most Amazing Silk Embroideries

When an embroider and a painter combine their skills, they found Vietnam’s most successful hand embroidery studio. XQ Dalat made realistic-looking silk embroidery. Hoang Le Xuan and her husband, Vo Van Quan founded the studio in 1996. She inherited the techniques from her family.

Hand-made silk embroidery is a long-standing tradition in Vietnam since the 17th century. It is even said that once upon a time, all of the women in Vietnam know how to embroider. Nowadays, silk hand embroidery connects music, poem, and painting with the craft – which is what XQ Dalat reflects in their artistic philosophy.

“Through by the subjects about the life – the death – hope – the hidden belief and characters of human being fate, embroidery art has created the view of our world, through by the images of musical realm and it is expressed by the national traditional art.” – XQ Dalat.

But the impressive level of realism in each piece turned the small business into an international success. Thus, bringing the tradition to its peak. XQ’s artisans can bring traditional flower motifs, picturesque landscapes, or portraits to life using only silk thread and mountains of patience. Today, the company employs over 3,000 talented embroiders and caters to clients from all over the world. Their high-quality art attracts artisans worldwide to learn their secrets.

Travelers can also visit their factories all over the country by tours. Their products are also available to purchase at their outlets. Plenty of visitors were impressed by the art and the intricacy of their handiwork.
