One of Malaysia’s well-known cartoonists that is Ar Ahmad Hilmy or better known as Mie has recently released a special limited edition tiffin. For those who do not know, Mie is an independent cartoonist who started contributing cartoons to Batu Api Magazine around the year 1984. Before that, Mie also has sent many of his works to entertainment magazines.
The design of the tiffin is really incredible as it takes the design from the ‘Imbauan’ comic book cover. ‘Imbauan’ is actually one of Mie’s cartoon books with a retro and Malaysian concept. It displays a lot about past life stories based on experiences and also recordings of his mind box in detail.
According to the tweet that mentioned, he said: “My dad, Cartoonist Ar. Mie (Tokoh Kartunis 2020) is launching his Raya special limited edition tiffin with design from a comic book cover, Imbauan and opening for orders now”. He also mentioned that people could start taking preorders from Shopee. The tiffin is available in two designs and are:
- Small (D12 x H16cm)
- Big (D14 x H20cm)
