Father Jailed 30 Months After Forcing Daughter To Sign ‘Never Get Fat’ Contract

A father who is too fanatical with fitness routines and even forces his children to sign contracts
which did not make sense, was eventually jailed for 30 months.

The 56 -year -old man has forced his three children to follow a routine he has set that could endanger their lives.

The three siblings dared to expose the abuses committed by their father, including mandating weekly weight scales in Windsor, Berkshire.

Not only that, but the man also forced his only daughter to sign a bizarre contract in 2012 that read: ‘I will never let myself get fat… I will do lots of exercises to make sure I will never fat… even if I die.’

The situation caused her daughter to suffer from an eating disorder, the Reading Crown Court was told.

“I was made to feel stupid and worthless; I lost my self-confidence and developed an eating disorder. Every bit of my life was affected growing up, we did not have a normal life or a happy childhood,” she said.

In addition to nutrition and fitness routines, the father is also said to control all aspects of his children’s lives including access to the internet, mobile phones, and house keys.

The man was convicted of three counts of child cruelty and two counts of causing actual bodily harm following a five-day trial. He is also subject to an indefinite restraining order against all his estranged family.
