MCO: Kelantan Police Ask Public To Use New Permission Letter

KOTA BHARU, April 16 — ter in seven districts in the state starting today until April 29.

Its chief Datuk Shafien Mamat said it was found that there were some people who are still using old letters.

“Action will be taken against those who are still stubborn,” he told reporters after inspecting a roadblock at the Sultan Yahya Petra Bridge here early today.

He said 500 police personnel and volunteers would be stationed at 17 roadblocks for two weeks during the MCO period.

On Wednesday, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the affected seven districts are Kota Bharu, Pasir Mas, Pasir Puteh, Bachok, Machang, Tumpat and Tanah Merah.

He said that health authorities confirmed an increase in the number of cases by 30.5 per cent from 756 to 1,088 for the past 14 days.
