A Baby In Philippines Named ‘Ghlynnyl Hylhyr Yzzyghyl’ And Nicknamed ‘Consonant ‘

A family from the Philippines named their newborn baby boy Ghlynnyl Hylhyr Yzzyghyl Mampuan Buscato. The name chosen was so difficult that the officer processing the baby’s birth certificate had to reprint the document because they made a mistake in the spelling of the name.

According to reports, the difficult name and spelling were decided by the baby’s grandfather, Raugyl Ferolin Estrera, who hails from Carmen, Cotabato.

To make it easier for everyone, Estrera also gave her grandson a nickname as ‘Consonant’.

Estrera explained that the choice of her grandson’s name ‘Ghlynnyl Hylhyr Yzzyghyl’ was formed by combining some letters from his name as well as the names of the baby’s father, mother, and grandmother.

He even said that a few letters from Consonant’s name were also derived from his niece’s name.

“If I will give him a name, it should be something of value for our family. The child’s name shouldn’t be made up,” Estrera said.

“At an early age, we will teach him how to write his name. We will explain the origin of his name so that he will have an idea. The child will know the importance of his name,” he added.
