As the last pasta trend, #fetapasta has gone viral on the internet, it has now reached 1 billion views on TikTok. The trend originally surfaced in February this year and has caused a national feta cheese shortage around the United States.
Five months after, which is the end of June, the same person behind the feta pasta recipe, @feelgoodfoodie, an account on TikTok once again made another pasta hack go viral. This time, she showed her 1.2 million followers how to make pasta chips using an air fryer.
Here is the original video of the pasta chips trend:

Pasta chips are seasoned pasta shapes that are put into an air fryer so that they become crunchy, hence the ‘chips’. Yumna Jawad, the person behind the account suggests that users mix their boiled pasta with parmesan cheese and olive oil before cooking it using an air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
The recipe itself is easy and took only 10 minutes but the crispiness of the pasta chips allows them to be eaten as a snack and can be dipped in any preferred sauce. Other TikTokers that tried this trend have been creative with their own choice of flavors and kinds of pasta. Some use pesto alongside olive oil, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper before air frying.
