Action movies of the 1980s remain incomparable. From the interesting storyline to the talented actors, everything was put perfectly. But it has been over 40 years since then and now, it is no longer the time for the late middle age actors. If you are ever wondering about them, here is a recent update of the well-known tough guys in Hollywood:

1) Chuck Norris

In the 1986 movie Delta Force, Chuck Norris played as Major Scott McCoy which was taken from the American military’s elite tactical unit. He is a real-life martial arts fighter and has retired from professional acting in 2018.

2) Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone starred in the famous Rocky franchise, Rambo (1982), and Cobra (1986). Stallone is now 74 years old and he is still acting with a number of films in the making.

3) Harrison Ford

Stars Wars fans must have remembered the guy who played Han Solo. Other than the iconic role, Harisson Ford also played Indiana Jones. His latest movie was Blade Runner 2049 that came out in 2017. He will also star in the fifth and final installment of the Indiana Jones franchise.

4) Arnold Schwarzenegger

Not many people know that Arnold Schwarzenegger has been Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia. Other than being one of the best actors of all time, he also has served as the Governor of California from the year 2003 until 2011. After some time, he started acting again and most recently appeared in a reboot of the Terminator franchise.

5) Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise started his career in an action movie with the movie Top Gun and ever since then, he continued to star in numerous action-packed films. Other than his charming look, he is also credited with performing the majority of stunts by himself. Tom Cruise continues to act till these days.

6) Carl Weathers

The character Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films was played by Carl Weathers who also used to be a world-class football player. Weathers continued to act in both TV shows and movies but he recently appeared as the voice for ‘Combat Carl’ in Toy Story 4.

7) Peter Weller

Peter Weller is truly a jack of all trades. He is well-known for his role in RoboCop, but not many people know that he is also an art historian with a Ph.D. from the University of California. He earned his Master’s degree in Roman and Renaissance Art at Syracuse University and continued his study in Ph.D. in Renaissance art history at UCLA. And all of that started when he was 57 years old!
