Steps to retrieve back missing folders from a USB that got infected by virus:

  1. Insert your virus-infected USB into a computer or even laptop.
  2. From the display, remember the exact location of your USB.
  3. Go to the ‘Start’ button and type Cmd. Then, press ‘Enter’.
  4. Type in ‘attrib -h -r -s /s /d e:/*.*‘. Make sure you follow the spacing correctly.
  5. For the final letter of the formula, type in the location of your USB according to the display earlier.
  6. Then, you will find all the missing folders from the virus-infected USB.
  7. That is how you can retrieve back the missing folders.
