(Video) Strengthen Your Body’s Immunity By Practicing These 7 Things!

With the pandemic still going on, people are still concern about protecting themselves against the virus. Besides washing your hands often and practicing social distance, what other things can you do to increase your immunity against the virus?

Here are some simple methods you can do to increase your immunity against Covid-19:

#1- Eat more vegetables and fruit

Include more fruits and vegetables into your meals daily. Brocolli, spinach, ginger, turmeric, guava, apple and oranges are some fruits and vegetables that can help boost your immune system.

#2-Yogurt

Take yogurt or any probiotics to make your intestines stronger

#3- Avoid fast food and food that contains high sugar

Fast food and food with high contents of sugar are not good for your health. Too much intake of it causes your immune system to comprise and when that happens, you are most likely to fall sick as it will reduce your body’s ability to ward off disease.

#4-Exposure to sunlight

Expose yourself to sunlight every morning for at least 6 to 8 minutes. This will enable you to absorb Vitamin D.

#5- Manage your stress

Stress management is important. Unable to manage your stress effectively will affect your immune system. When stressed, the immune system’s ability to fight off antigen is reduced causing us to be more vulnerable to infections.

#6-Avoid alcohol and smoking

Refrain from smoking or taking alcohol. These to will make it a lot harder for the immune system to gear up and function efficiently against harmful germs.

#7-Take vitamin C

Consume vitamin C daily. Our body does not produce vitamin C,hence, we get this vitamin from the food or medication we eat daily. Besides citrus fruits, taking vitamin C tablets is also effective. Take not more than 2000mg per day.
