(Video) Did You Know? These Albums That Tore Famous Bands Apart!

Making music isn’t always a pleasurable experience. Sometimes, the thing that brings everyone together, such as to make an album, might be the tipping point in a band’s breakup. Surprisingly, the end product isn’t always a musical disaster, despite the band’s disharmony.

And it is funny how some albums, that are considered a masterpiece these days, were actually born from bitterness, creative controls, and disagreements.

One of the most telling signs that an album is doomed to split the band that’s making it is when one member takes control of the musical direction while ignoring everyone else’s input. Take notice, would-be band leaders: this might lead to resentment and perhaps mutiny among the other members. Substance addiction is another concern that has demolished many bands before their time. Even if a band already has problems, this tends to worsen them.

Jealousy, treachery, and creative divergences are all present in the stories of albums that have broken bands apart. Each one, though, is a distinct chapter in the life of each band.
