1) Bukit Botak Sepangar, Kota Kinabalu

Bukit Botak Trail is a 2.9 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia that features beautiful wildflowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. The view at this Bukit Botak is actually rewarding.

2) Bukit Tirig Kg. Lapasan Telipok, Kota Kinabalu

Another hiking place in Kota Kinabalu is Bukit Tirig. Situated at Telipok, 30KM from Kota Kinabalu Town. To go to the starting point, you must go into Kampung Lapasan, and when you see a junction with a white color bustop go into it. About 500meter from the bus stop you will see Bukit Tirig signboard on your left-hand side.

3) Bukit Perahu, Tamparuli

The top of Bukit Perahu has one of the most spectacular views of Mt. Kinabalu. Bukit Perahu is 300 meters high. The hiking distance to the top is about 800 meters and normally takes about 35 minutes. Some section of the trail is a little steep, and you need to watch out for the slippery soil trail especially after rain.

4) Bukit Bongol, Kota Belud

Bukit Bongol is such a photogenic but odd hill. It is bald and covered by green grasses, like a mountain wearing green fleece. Its name Bongol is originated from the Malay word ‘Bonggol’, which means Hump, as this hill is characterized by a multi-peak landscape. I have to say Bukit Bongol is one of the most beautiful and unique hills of Sabah.

5) Bukit Sosodikon, Ranau

Superb scenery here. It takes a short climb that will eventually bring you to the top of the hill. Amazing hilltop view with surrounded mountains. You could definitely enjoy the amazing view with blue sky and clouds. It is actually very recommended to visit there.

6) Bohey Dulang, Semporna

Bohey Dulang is the second-largest island among the Tun Sakaran Marine Park archipelago. Bohey Dulang is a trekkers’ and birdwatchers’ favorite, offering fantastic views from its 353m peak. Birds are aplenty on the island. Is it possible to walk around the island at low tide on the beach?
