(Video) Shang-Chi Bits: Spike Might Be A Malaysian!

A new Marvel hero is here! We’ve seen most American heroes on screen, now there’s a new hero but he’s Asian. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings follow Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), who is dragged into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization and must confront the history he believed he had left behind.

And here’s a thing, there’s one character that might be from Malaysia or Indonesia!

A particular scene shows Katy complimenting a guy with a spiked face and he replies ‘terima kasih’, which means thank you in Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia. This language is also spoken in other Southeast Asian countries like Brunei and Singapore. Speaking of Southeast Asia, you definitely recognize the King of the Fruit, Durian and that spiked mask shows lots of resemblances, about that size and very spiky.

Most probably that spike-headed guy is from Malaysia or Indonesia! This is no spoiler alert. If you haven’t catch Shang-Chi, you can definitely watch them online. Enjoy!
