One Tablet Device To Each B40 Student In IHL, Starts Second Quarter of 2022

There have been so many incentives done by the government to help all Malaysians that are struggling nowadays. The help will benefit a lot of people from different generations. Recently, there is also an announcement to help students who are pursuing their studies. IHL students especially from the B40 family can now own devices and also Internet access for even more sustainable learning by owning a tablet device along with mobile broadband data.

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) stated that this particular incentive would help coordinate the implementation of the Malaysian Family Student Device Package. For this purpose, The government set aside an allocation of RM450 million, while the Telcos will contribute approximately RM65 million.

Students Eligible For The Pakej PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia:

  • Full-time IHL students who are within the B40 group are eligible for this package.

Participating Telcos:

  • Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom).
  • Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi).
  • Maxis Berhad (Maxis).
  • U Mobile Sdn Bhd (U Mobile).
  • Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).
  • YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (YES).

The Package Start On:

  • Expected to begin from the second quarter (Q2) of 2022.
