According to the video that stated, all the family members are enjoying themselves going on a vacation together. Then, they also enjoyed a lot of mouth-watering foods as they are traveling. Unfortunately, one of the members of the group which is the husband of the woman who posted the video got ‘chika’. Looking at the comments section, it is understood that ‘chika’ is actually a type of discomfort that people can feel in their stomachs due to excessive eating.

Worry not because there are actually so many simple methods that can be done to make the discomfort feel at ease. According to hellodoktor, these are 9 simple methods that you can actually do to prevent ‘chika’ from getting worse.

1) Drink A Lot Of Water

Drink at least a glass of water. Among the types of drinks that can be taken are plain water, fruit juice, or any flavored soup. This is because the salt in drinks like this helps to slow down the loss of fluid in the body and sugar helps the body to absorb the salt content.

2) Eat Small Portion Of Meals

When you eat food in excessive quantities, it will stimulate the gastrointestinal tract to be more active. If this condition occurs, it will worsen the condition you are experiencing. Therefore, you can try to eat smaller meals after this. It helps your stomach to process food more easily.

3) Avoid Drinks That Are Too Hot Or Too Cold

If you want to consume any beverages, avoid drinking beverages with temperatures that are too hot or too cold. Drink beverages at room temperature or slightly warm. Beverages that are too hot or cold will only add to the feeling of nausea or vomiting.

4) Avoid Fried Foods

If you want to eat meat, fish, or even chicken, it is better if you cook it by grilling or boiling method. Avoid frying because fried foods will only make things worse.

5) Do Not Drink Caffeinated Or Alcoholic Beverages

Did you know that drinks that contain caffeine or alcohol will only worsen your condition? This is because caffeine and alcohol can irritate the digestive tract in your body.

6) Eat Foods Rich In Probiotics

Probiotics are a source of good bacteria that play an important role in the digestive tract of the human body. It works to create a healthy gut for the body.

7) BRAT Food

BRAT foods are a type of low-fiber food that can help harden your stools. BRAT’s food is bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast.

8) Eat When You Are Hungry

Never force your body to eat when the stomach is not hungry. This is because it will only worsen your condition. Eat only according to your body’s needs and do not overeat.

3) Do Not Eat Fruits Or Vegetables That Can Cause Bloating

There are several types of fruits and even vegetables that can increase the amount of intestinal gas. If the intestinal gas increases, the discomfort feeling will only get worse. Among the foods that can cause bloating are prunes, berries, legumes, peas, broccoli, corn, and green leafy vegetables.
