Gong Yoo On Instagram With Squid Image As First Post, Gains 1 Million Followers

Recently, a particular popular actor Gong Yoo is indeed the latest Korean star to finally join Instagram. The actor that has featured in a lot of trending and famous movies joined the platform on the 1st of December and in just less than 24 hours, he even has garnered 1.4 million followers for the new account. Such an amazing impact that he has.

Gong Yoo’s own agency has shared a piece of information to Korean media, adding that the agency will be managing the account directly. It has stated, “We opened an official Instagram account to convey the daily life of the actor, Gong Yoo, to all the fans”. Surprisingly, the very first post in the account happens to be a photo of a squid on a plate.

On the career front, this well-known 42-year-old actor would be starring in the new Netflix series and is also highly anticipated by all the fans out there that are called The Silent Sea which is set to premiere on the 24th of December. This information would mark Gong Yoo’s grand return to the small screen since his own last appearance on TV as a regular cast member in the year 2016 hit K-drama which is titled Goblin. Many of his beloved fans would wait for it.

The second post on his Instagram account is actually a photo of him with his back to the camera and pointing to the back of his basketball jersey, which bears his surname and also the number 30. Both posts didn’t have any captions.
