(Video) “The Loss of A Book, The Loss of A…” – Big Bad Wolf

The floods that hit several states or places last week may have receded, but the effects of the disaster are devastating. Arguably, most of the houses, infrastructure and goods have been damaged and some are no longer usable.

The mud that covers the entire space in the house also takes a long time and a lot of energy to be cleaned completely.

Not only that, but bookstores also had to bear losses as the books sold were damaged after the flood disaster.

Through a video sharing by Big Bad Wolf on Facebook, an estimated two million books were reported to have been damaged by the floods.

“The loss of a book, the loss of a business is as nothing in the face of the tragedy of a life lost or a home destroyed. We must push for change or history will repeat itself,” said Big Bad Wolf on the video post.

The video that was uploaded also showed the cleaning work in the warehouse in full swing. It is understood through a tweet by BERNAMA, the bookstore workers had to use a backhoe to push all the books.

The video featuring a large number of damaged books went viral yesterday and if seen in the comments section, most netizens especially book lovers expressed sadness at seeing the situation in the warehouse.
