“We Regret The SOP Violation In KLCC…” – Khairy Jamaluddin

As many people in Malaysia nowadays would know, The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is now offering a traffic summons compound discount of 80 percent and this discount would last until Dec 12. The discount offer was indeed in conjunction with the 100-day Aspirasi #Keluarga Malaysia program which was officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC). Everyone was so happy about it.

All compound payments can be made at the PDRM counter in KLCC and also other places. Because of that, a huge number of people have flooded the KLCC area and unfortunately, this particular scene has caused the organizer to violate the SOP stated by the government because of COVID-19. Not long after that, Khairy Jamaluddin responded.

In his own tweet which he stated, “We regret the SOP violation in KLCC. A fine has been issued to the organizer and the police summons counter has been shut immediately. We will continue to monitor & will not hesitate to take further action if organizers still fail to ensure SOP compliance”. That is the consequence that the organizer face.
