1) Take Your AirPods Away From The Water As Soon As Possible

If your AirPods got submerged in water, quickly removed them from there and place them on a dry surface that is preferably flat. Even though some of the latest versions of AirPods could withstand a little bit of water, they could also be easily damaged if there is too much water. Something to remember, place the charging case upside down if the charging case is wet to drip out the excess water in it.

2) Use Cloth To Dry Up Your Wet AirPods

Use a dry cloth to soak up all the excess water from your wet AirPods. For the speaker part, you can easily use some cotton swabs to absorb the water. Remember not to press it too hard so that it would not damage it.

3) Use The Water Eject Shortcut

The Water Eject shortcut can be downloaded into your phone. When using it, the Water Eject would use the setting of low-frequency bass tone so that it can help to force the excess water out from your AirPods. This process can be repeated as many times as possible until there is no water inside your AirPods.

4) Let The Airpods Dry Completely

Do not use the AirPods instantly after that. Give some time for your AirPods to be completely dry before you decided to use them back. Just beware because heat or even cold temperatures that are so extreme can damage your AirPods.

5) Aid The Drying Process Using Silica Gels Or Other Desiccant

Silica Gel could really help to make your AirPods dry completely. This will save your AirPods even better to make sure that there are not even tiny droplets are left in the AirPods.

6) Put The AirPods Into An Airtight Container With Desiccant In It

Make sure to place the AirPods inside an airtight container that has desiccant in it so that it would be confirmed that there is no other excessive water inside the AirPods. The longer you placed it there, the better it is for the AirPods.

7) If All The Steps Above Could Not Save Your AirPods, Just Replace With A New One

When you are trying to make the AirPods completely dry, you may want to try all the steps more than once so that the excess water inside the AirPods is gone. You also need to trust the process by giving them two or more days so that it would fix your AirPods. In the end and still cannot be fixed, you can just replace your AirPods with a new one.
