Black Panther director has recently got arrested in a bank after he was falsely accused. He is indeed none other than Ryan Coogler. According to the report by NowThis, it was a Bank of America located specifically in Atlanta, Georgia.
The actual thing that really happened that day was Ryan Coogler wanted to withdraw a huge amount of money from his own account. Before he did anything further, he handed a note asking the bank teller to be discreet about it. The amount that he wanted to take out was $12,000 (around RM50340). Apparently, he did nothing wrong at that time.

Right after that, a police officer was called because the bank teller thought that Ryan Coogler attempted to rob the bank. After further explanation, the police decided that it was a mistake and misunderstanding on the bank’s part. He was then got taken out of the handcuffs. The famous director said, “This incident never should have happened”.
As reported in The New York Times, Bank of America has issued an apology. The statement by them stated, “We deeply regret that this incident occurred. It never should have happened, and we have apologized to Mr. Coogler”.
