Recently, a feature of shortcuts on messenger got introduced. According to the Messenger News website, this would be a brand new command system. It would make the users send messages more efficiently and a little bit extra fun.
There would be two different functions for this new shortcut. Both of them are easy to use. First, it is the @everyone and. Second, is going to be the /silent. Both of these functions would be very useful, especially if chatting in a group.
This feature is already available on iOS and also Android. If you are using the @everyone function, it would help you to notify all the participants in the chat. Definitely a great use for group reminders. As for the /silent function, the participants in the chat would not receive any notification of your message. It so helps if you do not want to disturb.
Other than that, there would also be more functions coming for the shortcuts on Messenger. It is indeed the /pay function to pay and request money. The next one is the /gif function to easily find gifs that are suitable for your text.
