The Russian former world No. 1 tennis player that is Maria Sharapova has recently shared a piece of great news for everyone. That is none other than she is currently expecting her first baby with her fiancé that is Alexander Gilkes.
This amazing news was shared by her on an Instagram post. In addition, she also was celebrating her 35th birthday. As can be seen in the picture, she was posing on the beach. Holding on to her baby bump shows the sweet side of her.
The caption on the post stated, “Precious beginnings!!! Eating birthday cake for two has always been my specialty”. So happy for her and also her fiancé. Looking at the comment section, many people also feel happy for both of them.
Previously, the announcement of her retiring from tennis was done in February 2020. She has been involved in this sports career for 28 years already. She stated that she is finally ready to do and achieve other things in her own life.
