One of her most applaudable achievements was becoming the 12th Deputy Prime Minister during the reign of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Dato’ Seri Wan Azizah’s kind help touched Dato’ Sri Alexander’s heart
The former medical doctor has empathy running in her blood. Despite being in the gruesome world of politics, Dato’ Seri keeps her core close to home. Always down to earth and kind, according to close members, she’s often praised for putting people’s needs first.
We can see this assumption coming to life when the Minister of Work, Dato’ Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, shared a tweet last night.
The parliamentary session has been going on for a few days. Of course, the session will be long and tiring as almost every minister has to voice their concern and plans for the country’s development. Therefore, that’s why we often see them dozing off in the hall.
Thus, aware of Alexander’s condition, Dato’ Seri Wan Azizah gifted him something prior to the session.
“Alex, I brought this for you to help ease the pain in your knee.”
Dato’ Sri Alexander said although he was surprised by the gift, the gesture touched him. He added it’s another side of ‘Kak Wan’ that not many can see.
