Day Of Arafah, Here Are What To Know About And The Importance Of It

Day Of Arafah is definitely just around the corner. For those who might not know, it is a known fact that there is going to be a resurrection and gathering Muslims. Place that it would be is Mount Arafat. They are there to accountable for all their actions.

In the Islamic Hijri lunar year, this particular day is actually the holiest day. To easily know which day it is, it would surely be the ninth day of Dhu’l-Ḥijjah. Other than that, the Day Of Arafah would occur on the second day of the Hajj pilgrimage to Makkah.

Importance For The Day Of Arafah

As stated by the Zakat Foundation website, there is a lot of importance for this mentioned day. Some of them are actually:

  • Allah SWT made the religion of Islam perfect by on that day.
  • The day that Islam became the chosen religion. It is for all believers and will stay until the end of the world.
  • Allah SWT gave the completion of His divine favor upon the Muslims on that day.

Reasons To Fast On That Day

As stated by the Orphans In Need website, people especially Muslims fast during the day. These are actually some of them:

  • The essence of Hajj is complete with it.
  • The day for the last sermon was given by the Prophet (SAW).
  • Souls from Hell was released by Allah SWT on that day.
