Tomato flu is actually a very dangerous and also rare viral disease. To those who might not know, this type of flu surely causes red-colored rashes to appear on the body. Children need to be extra careful with this because children have a higher chance to get it rather than adults. Compared to other countries, India is now known as the place with the most serious cases of Tomato Flu. Up until now, there are in total of four states with reported cases of the severe Tomato Flu. They are indeed Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, and Odisha.
This mentioned flu is actually a form of hand, foot, and mouth disease or better known as HFMD. Other than red-color rashes, some other appearances could also be seen on the skin. For example, skin irritation and also dehydration. Interestingly, the flu gets its name from blisters produced on the skin. The blisters look like tomatoes. Children from 1 to 9 years old are at high risk.
