Raihan Nasheed has recently posted a picture with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on their Instagram page. It was indeed an old picture of the group and also the Queen. In it, they stated they were once invited by the Queen herself to make a performance.
They stated in the post, “Raihan was once invited by Queen Elizabeth II to perform at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Edinburgh”. For those who might not know, the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting is actually a biennial summit meeting. The individual included in the meeting would be the governmental leaders from all the Commonwealth nations.
The picture posted by the group on their Instagram page was actually a picture taken in Petaling Jaya. The caption stated, “The picture is actually at the time when Raihan received a visit from Queen Elizabeth II at the synchro sound studio, Petaling Jaya”.
So good for them to be able to experience that. All in all, it was truly an exciting and also a memorable experience for the Raihan group themselves to meet Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in front of their own very eyes back in the day. May her rest in peace.
