Doctor Praises Mydin For Accepting Disabled People For Jobs

Mydin, as we all know is a hypermarket, and lately, this hypermarket has been viral for making funny tweets on Twitter. You can read about it here. This hypermarket does not only bring joy to people for its funny tweets. Mydin is also praised because of their consideration to accept disabled people to join their team.

Shared by @dr_chaku, or Dr. Kamarul Ariffin Nor Sadan, he shows his gratitude towards Mydin for taking disabled people for jobs. He stated that it is difficult for any company to take disabled people to work with them. Nevertheless, Mydin is one of a kind.

Dr. Kamarul added, he and his teams used to write letters to companies. They intended to help their disabled patients to get a job. Dr. Kamarul suggested that Mydin consider taking his patient, who has cerebral palsy, to work with them.

This patient has movement and cognitive problems. Therefore, he does things slowly as he has some complications with his motor skills. It is also hard for him to receive sequential instructions.

Dr. Kamarul is grateful that they accepted him to work, with the same salary as other healthy people. Disabled people need money too, to continue with their lives.

According to Dr. Kamarul, having a job is an income, ibadah, and therapy. Therefore, it is hoped that other companies will open their hearts to accept disabled people to join the team.

Dr. Kamarul wished Mydin well and hoped the hypermarket will flourish in business.
