Netflix’s Halloween 2022: Frightening, funny, or family-friendly? Horror is one of the most beloved genres across Asia, and fans are increasingly turning to Netflix for their fright fix — whether that’s terrifying ghost tales, laugh-out-loud horror comedies, or family-friendly stories.
In the Asia-Pacific region, viewing of horror content on Netflix grew 20 percent from 2020 to 2021. Over the same period, viewing hours of horror content in Southeast Asia increased even more, by over 40 percent.
As we approach Halloween, we wanted to share some of our members’ favourite titles (as revealed in this week’s Top 10 today), some new series launching this week, and some of the biggest horror hits from across Asia-Pacific this year. See below for the full list.
